Kuwait International Airport is located 20km south of downtown Kuwait City, the capital of Kuwait. The ride takes about 20 minutes by the King Faisal highway in case of normal road traffic.
The airport area including runways, technical areas, military areas and passenger areas, covers 29km² for a total perimeter of 23km.
